Kismet Will Be Participating in Giving Tuesday Now on May 5th

Dear Kismet Community,

On May 5, 2020 we will be participating in Giving Tuesday Now, a global day of giving and unity, created as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. This pandemic is changing the world and the lives of everyone in it. But while citizens practice social distancing for the sake of safety, Kismet Rock Foundation remains committed to the intellectual, emotional, and physical development of our incredible students.

For 20 years, Kismet has been offering rock climbing scholarships to deserving youth who are typically from stressful situations and are often not seen or heard in their schools, communities, and sometimes even their own families. It is our mission to show up and listen. The loss, fear, and isolation stemming from COVID-19 is real, but so is the strength and compassion humans demonstrate as we respond to these challenges. Kismet Rock Foundation values connection, creativity, and self-exploration, and these values are needed more than ever.
