The Kismet Team
Krissy Fraser
Executive Director
A Massachusetts native and graduate of the University of Rhode Island, Krissy started her career as a Communications Project Manager at Fidelity Investments, Crosby Group. Eight years later, in 2006, she took a leap of faith and left the corporate world to relocate to the Mount Washington Valley.
Krissy has recently spent ten years working in marketing, development, and events for the nonprofit Mount Washington Observatory and prior to that worked in the ski industry. Now with the opportunity to work with an organization whose mission is to help underprivileged kids find their potential Fraser is thrilled to take her depth of experience in communications and development and apply them as the Executive Director of Kismet.
Krissy lives in Jackson, New Hampshire with her partner Fred and his two boys Alex and Ethan, where she spends her free time outdoors, skiing, hiking, and gardening.
Owen McAndrew
Program Manager
Owen is a climber, educator, and guide based out of Jackson, NH. He first discovered climbing while attending college in Northern Vermont, during which time, he was drawn to the physical and problem solving challenges the sport presents. While these aspects of climbing are still appealing, Owen’s fascination has shifted to the vulnerable relationships that are facilitated by small groups stepping outside their comfort zone together.
Owen has worn many hats around the Mount Washington Valley prior to Kismet. Most recently, these include working as a public elementary school educator, an avalanche instructor, and a climbing instructor with a focus on youth programs. His most memorable days are the one’s spent with people and he can’t wait for the next chapter with Kismet.
Zoë Eisenberg
Program and Office Coordinator
Growing up in the Mt. Washington Valley, Zoë was introduced to the sport of climbing at a young age. She quickly learned the empowerment climbing skills, along with other outdoor pursuits can bring from learning these skills. She left the valley briefly to study Psychology and Education at Bates College in Maine, which led her to working as a Leadership Education Facilitator for Elementary and Middle school students. She moved back to the Valley in 2022 to teach 2nd Grade and Middle School Outdoor Education.
She currently lives in Jackson, NH and can usually be found running in the mountains, bouldering, climbing, or skiing any chance she gets when the snow falls. She is passionate about bringing children into the outdoors for experiential learning opportunities from which they can build skills and grow confidence.
