End of year giving and community support.

It is that time of year again: snow-filled mountains, iced over lakes, warm slippers, hot coco, and end-of-year giving!  We have sent out our annual appeal letters, to provide the opportunity to support our program, to hundreds of households throughout New England.  Our program is provided to students with absolutely no charges or fees.  We are able to do this because of the generous support of our donor community.  If you have interest in supporting Kismet, send us an e-mail at [email protected] or visit https://www.kismetrockfoundation.org/support/ to learn ways to help.

The donations keep rolling in and we are excited to announce two more grant awards to support us in the 2017 Program Season:

Samuel P. Hunt Foundation

The Samuel P. Hunt Foundation has provided Kismet Rock Foundation with a grant award of $5,000 to help cover scholarships of five students from Manchester, NH.  The Samuel P. Hunt Foundation is based out of Manchester and it is always heart-warming to see local organizations and foundations support the local youth.  Thank you!

New Hampshire Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities

The NH Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities has returned to support Kismet by providing a grant award of $3,000 for the general operating expenses of our summer programming.  This will greatly offset the costs associated with housing and feeding all of our students.  Speedway began their charitable work in 1982 “to care for children in educational, financial, social and medical need in order to help them lead productive lives.”  Learn more here: http://newhampshire.speedwaycharities.org/
